This work examines the international community and the security arrangement that put in place in order to curb the threat posed by terrorism in the globe. It explains why people use terrorism for whatever purpose and why terrorism has thrived in some part of the world, while it has seen little or no success in some. It goes further to explain that for the world to be secured and for the war against terrorism to be won, nations have to join hands in the fight against terrorism/ This work presents a clear cut assessment of terrorism in the 21st century and how it has changed the world.
